FOOD FIND IN DOWNTOWN CHATTAHOOCHIE

TD just can’t quit saying it…Chattahoochie, Chattahoochie, Chattahoochie. If his last name was Chattanooga, he’d have it legally changed. That said, he HIGHLY (without the aid of cannabis) recommends Easy Bistro & Bar (easybistro.com) for oysters (six varieties – even on a Wednesday, a day when oyster shuckers can be known to take the day off – well maybe). Regardless, this culinary “find” even has a “Michelin mention” and appears to have been firmly established, just across from the Read House Hotel, for over two decades.

But the piece de resistance (French for “mmmm good”) was a Tempura Grouper Collar (TD was unaware fish even wore collars) which was not only palate pleasing (he stayed true to his practice of trying the dish before photographing the same), but TD was duly impressed with the presentation. He did not try to eat the fins and please excuse the finger; the poor fish deserved better.
