Giddyup Gotterup

In case you were in a Super Bowl coma, TD wishes to apprise you of the fact that Chris Gotterup fired a final round 64 Sunday to put himself into a play-off with Hideki Masuyama. Gotterup prevailed, sinking a 27 foot putt for birdie on the first play-off hole. TD noticed that the whole scene (particularly Hole #16) was a little more "serene" and heard that this was mainly due to a drinks maximum of some sort...good idea. TODAYS DUFFER-ISM: "You're gaining on it." This Duffer-ism comes in handy when your playing partner is experiencing his second (not the first, but second) three putt of the round.
