SMOOVE SALE-ING!

*TD, making a command decision that he needed some new jeans, further made the decision that JC Penney's might be a place where one could find the same.  That said, he also felt impressed with himself for his consideration of "darkening the door" of a brick and mortar store; you know the ones that pay not only sales taxes, but also real estate taxes, thereby contributing to infrastructure and schools.  It was a rewarding experience.  ** When TD entered the store, it was reminiscent of a by-gone era where items lain on tables so one could view and touch them...and there was a little room for to try on your would-be purchases.    And, while the store itself seemed substantially devoid of those persons prone to assist shoppers, TD found that his time spent browsing and shopping were likely extended in that no salesperson intruded on his space.  Regardless, he found two pair of super-wonderful blue jeans on sale for $25/pair but then, in further perusing the sale rack, he found these perfectly pink (let's say coral) golfing pants/jeans for $16.  *** At check out, the nice lady asked if TD took of JC's frequent shopper scheme, he knew this was coming but still had to answer in the negative.  She apprised him of the fact that, if he would "sign up today", he would get $35 off his purchase of $66 to which, for those kind of savings, he readily committed.  Thus, he was able to purchase three pairs of jeans for $31, plus tax.  Driving away, TD thought that he never recalled Jeff Bezos making him such an exciting deal.  His advice, put down the joy-stick and take a drive to the mall where everyone seems to win...and the pants fit!
